Postcard in the form of an owl for Teacher’s Day
Every person who had to sit at a school desk, even many years later, remembers his first teacher. To all of us, the teacher in those years seemed the embodiment of wisdom and knowledge. We wanted to take an example from him and imitate him in many ways.
As you know, an owl is considered a symbol of wisdom. Looking at this legendary bird, it seems that she knows more than any person. Therefore, the image of an owl is closely associated with wisdom and knowledge.
Any parent whose children are in elementary school can help their child make a symbolic gift to their favorite teacher for his professional holiday. In this master class, we show the process of creating a postcard in the form of an owl from paper.

To make such an owl, we took:
- red, white, brown, green paper;
- notebook sheet;
- black and red marker;
- ruler;
- scissors;
- plastic eyes;
- pencil;
- glue.

The basis for our owl will be a square cut out of red paper. In our case, its side is 12 cm.

Fold the square diagonally.

Now expand the red square so that the fold line is vertical. Bend the top corner down a little, this will be the head of our owl.

At the bend of this triangle, small cuts (about 1.5 cm) must be made on the sides.

Now we will begin to form the body of our owl.To do this, first bend the right side of the square to the middle.

Let’s make a symmetrical fold on the left side.

The top can be folded down. So we formed a blank for an owl from colored paper.

Now let’s take care of its design. For the spout, cut out a blank from white paper. Glue it, and draw the nostrils with a black felt-tip pen.

The eyes will be plastic, we use an adhesive base with a diameter of 2 cm.

Cut out the paws, but do not glue them yet, but simply attach them to the right place.

Inside our owl postcard there will be a small piece of a notebook sheet. We glue it in the center and at the same time fix the paws under it.

Our owl will sit on a branch, cut it out of brown paper.

Glue this branch under the paws of an owl.

Let’s add a couple of green leaves.

Now it remains to write a congratulation on a notebook piece of paper.

Our postcard for Teacher’s Day in the form of an owl made of paper is ready.
