Postcard for February 23 from cardboard, paper and thread
In this master class, we will show the process of making an original postcard by February 23rd.
To create such a postcard with a rocket, we took: black and golden cardboard; red and orange paper glue; scissors; orange and red threads (knitting yarn); pencil; hole puncher; ruler.

The basis for our postcard will be a half of black cardboard. On it we will application in the form of a rocket.

For the main part of the rocket, cut out a square from orange paper and fold it in half.

Now glue this blank in the center of the cardboard. It turned out to be a kind of book, inside which you can write a wish.

Next, let’s deal with the design of the rocket. Cut out a pair of triangles from red paper, and cut one of them in half.

We glue these parts to our rocket.

Additionally, cut out 3 circles of the same size from red paper. To draw them, we circled the cap of the glue stick.

Glue these circles to the main part of the rocket.

Using a hole punch, make several holes in the bottom of the rocket. Subsequently, we will insert threads into these holes that will imitate the flame from the rocket nozzle.

Now let’s prepare the yarn. We use red and orange threads, cut them into pieces 15-20 cm long.

Next, we take two threads of different colors, fold them in half and insert them into the hole made.

We form a loop.

In this way, we fill all the holes made at the bottom of the rocket. Trim the threads with scissors.

Cut out stars from golden cardboard and glue them on. Our postcard with a rocket is ready for February 23.
