How to sew ice cream from felt
All children love ice cream. In this master class, we will sew felt ice cream for the game. The toy is sewn for a short time and is easy.
For sewing ice cream we need:
- Felt white, pink and sand;
- Beads;
- Needle;
- Sintepon;
- Threads;
- Paper (for templates);
- Scissors;
- Pen.
We draw a template for the future ice cream on paper. The size of the toy depends only on your desire.
Cut out all the necessary details from felt. The ice cream itself will be white, the stick will be sand, and the icing will be pink. But you can make it in any other color that you like best.
Sew beads on the pink part. It can be any color. You can even use several shades at once. You can also use glass beads instead of beads. This is a sprinkle.
Then we sew the pink top to one of the white details. We sew only on the bottom where there are drips, since we will sew on the top when we start sewing the ice cream completely.
We embroider a face with black threads: eyes and a smile. We do all this below on a white basis.
We take 2 parts of the stick and sew them together. The stick can not be filled with synthetic winterizer if the felt is hard.
And let’s start assembling. We sew ice cream completely. It is better if the pink part of the toy is sewn with pink threads, and the white part with white ones.
We immediately sew a stick and fill it with synthetic winterizer. It is important to insert the stick in the middle of the bottom of the ice cream.
To make the toy look even cuter, you can use blush or pink paint and brown the cheeks.
Let’s make a bow on top a little on the side. Cut out a small rectangle and tie it in the middle, then sew it onto the ice cream as a decoration. The bow should not be too big.
When stitching all the details, it is important to hide all the knots and ends of the threads inside the product well.
