How to sew a bullfinch toy from felt
The bullfinch is one of the symbols of winter. This is a very beautiful and bright bird.

To sew a bullfinch, we need:
- felt red, black, gray and white;
- needle and thread;
- synthetic winterizer;
- piece of paper;
- scissors;
- pen or pencil.
Let’s first draw the details of the bullfinch on a piece of paper.
Cut out the template from paper and transfer the details to the felt. We cut them out. We cut out the body from black felt, the tummy from red. We place the tummy on the body of the bird. Sew on top and under the head with red threads.
We do the same with the second part of the body. We attach the parts to each other and sew with black thread. We immediately sew on the gray beak. Leave a small hole. We fill the bird with synthetic winterizer through it. And stitch up the hole. We tie a knot, hide the tip of the thread inside the toy. We cut off the excess.
Now let’s sew the wing. In the bullfinch it is tricolor. We take the largest part of black.

Now carefully sew or glue the eyes to the toy. This is her last detail. The eye also consists of two parts. Cut out a white circle and a small black one.
We sew a black circle to a white one and then place the eyes on the head of the bullfinch. It’s better to glue the eyes. Then they will look neater, since the toy itself is small.
