How to make an elephant out of paper
Children’s crafts allow you to develop not only creative thinking in a child, but also to work out fine motor skills. Classes conducted in the origami technique do well with this. And to make it more interesting for the child to work with paper, invite him to make an elephant according to this master class.

To create such an elephant, we took:
- 2 square sheets of paper;
- glue;
- plastic eyes;
- black marker.

Our craft will be made of blue paper. To make it, you need 2 square sheets of the same size, in our case, the side of the square is 14 cm. From the first square, we will begin to make the head. First, fold it diagonally.

After that, unfold it and bend the right side to the middle fold line.

Fold the left side in the same way.

The lower corner of the resulting rumba must be bent up.

Now we bend the resulting workpiece as follows. As a result, we got the head of an elephant, on which ears and a trunk are noticeable.

Fold the top side corners back.

Let’s make a fold on the trunk.

Now let’s start creating the body of our elephant. To do this, take the second square and bend its edge by about 1 cm.

Then fold the workpiece in half.

Unfold the square and fold the right side to the middle fold line.

Fold the left edge symmetrically.

Now you need to connect these two parts together. This is how they should look from the back. Use glue if necessary.

And this is how our craft looks from the front side.

Glue plastic eyes on the elephant.

Draw the details with a black felt-tip pen. Our paper elephant is ready.
