Master class with a step-by-step photo “How to make a three-dimensional snowflake out of paper.” Making interesting light crafts with your own hands for children, parents, teachers and educators, for school and kindergarten.

How to make a paper snowflake

Before celebrating the New Year, many people think about decorating their living space. In addition to a large Christmas tree, which occupies the most honorable place in the house, a variety of snowflakes can be used as decor. In this master class, we will demonstrate how to make a three-dimensional paper snowflake.

To create such a snowflake, we prepared:

  • white plain paper;
  • ruler;
  • glue;
  • scissors;
  • pencil.

The main initial element for our snowflake will be a square cut out of paper. In our case, its side is 8 cm. We need 7 such blanks.

Next, we begin to add each square in a certain way. First, make a couple of diagonal folds.

After that, we perform transverse folds, but in the other direction.

Next, we will begin to bend the corners towards the center.

At this stage, we bend all the corners.

Now turn over the blank of one module and bend only a couple of corners.

Flip the element over to the other side again.

Next, on the flat side of the workpiece, we change the folds so that a kind of inner fold is obtained.

On the right side, straighten the corner outward.

Now we add our module as follows.

Additionally, we add 6 more such modules from white squares.

Now you can use glue. It must be applied to the place that we marked with a pencil.

We glue the second module. This is what they look like from above.

We continue to glue other elements on the side that will make up the rays of the future snowflake.

It remains to close them in a ring. Our white paper snowflake is ready.
