Master class with a step-by-step photo “How to make a spider from plasticine and chenille wire.” Making interesting light crafts with your own hands for children, parents, teachers and educators, for school and kindergarten.

How to make a spider from plasticine and chenille wire

Some people (including children) are afraid of various insects.

But our spider is not scary at all, and therefore it can be easily made with children.
The step-by-step process of creating a spider from plasticine and chenille wire is shown in our master class.

To make such a spider, we prepared:

  • purple plasticine;
  • chenille wire of the same color (4 pcs.);
  • scissors;
  • plastic eyes;
  • straws for a yellow cocktail.

Let’s start creating our craft with the legs of a spider. It should have 8 legs, so we take 4 chenille wires and twist them in the middle.

To decorate the paws of our spider, you will need blanks cut from cocktail tubes. To this end, we cut the tubes into segments about 1.5 cm long. We need to prepare 24 such blanks.

We string 3 small tubes onto the foot.

So on each foot we put on 3 pieces.

Now we will form the paws, giving them the desired shape. To do this, you will need to bend each foot in two places. At the end of the foot, we also make a small fold so that the tube does not slip off.

Thus, we bend all the paws.

The body and head of the spider will be made of plasticine. To do this, roll up 2 balls of different sizes.

Let’s connect them together.

Now let’s connect this plasticine blank with paws made of chenille wire. To do this, from the bottom side, you need to fix it with a small strip of plasticine.

This is how our spider looks from above.

It remains to add plastic eyes.

Our plasticine and chenille wire spider is ready.
