How to make a penguin out of paper – a master class with step by step photos for children, parents and teachers

Posted on

Master class with step by step photo “How to make a paper penguin”. Making interesting light crafts with your own hands for children, parents, teachers and educators, for school and kindergarten.

How to make a paper penguin

In this master class, we will demonstrate the process of creating a penguin using the origami technique.
To make such a penguin, we prepared:
square sheet of one-sided blue paper, black marker, glue.

First, fold the blue square in half in different directions, outlining the folds.

Then you need to make diagonal folds.

Now we fold the blank of the future penguin in the form of a double square.

We pay attention that its folds are located on top. After that, at the top layer, bend the corners as follows.

Fold the top corner down.

Let’s start gently straightening the top layer.

We give it the appearance of a rhombus.

We do the same by turning the workpiece.

Now the upper edges of the rhombuses (on both sides) are lowered down.

For convenience, turn the workpiece and bend the bottom corner up.

Expand the square completely. Pay attention to the fold lines that form a small square in the center.

They need to be bent in one direction (in this case, the folds are directed away from you).

We fold the blue square as follows.

And we direct its diagonal folds inward.

Now we give the blank of the future penguin the following look.

Bend the bottom corner of the top layer up.

Now we will bend it to the just outlined line.

Then we match the folds made.

In this form, we will begin to unfold the top layer.

Smooth out all the folds.

Let’s turn it over to the other side.

Here we will give the top layer the appearance of a rhombus.

And then lower the top part down.

For convenience, let’s deploy the future penguin.

One layer turn it to the left.

Let’s make an angle. So we form one penguin wing.

Let’s fold the layer back.

Do the same for the second wing.

Let’s bend these wings to the center.

It remains to draw a muzzle. To do this, bend the bottom corner up.

Fold the top corner down.

We bend it inside.

Now we fill under the previously bent lower corner.

We form a beak and glue it.

Draw eyes with black marker. Our paper penguin is ready.
