How to make an origami paper pig
The symbol of 2019 is the yellow pig. But such an animal is hard to imagine, so we suggest making it out of paper in the usual pink color.
It is such a pig that is presented in our master class.
To create such a piglet, we prepared:
- a square sheet of pink paper (with a side of 15 cm);
- black marker.
First, fold the pink square in half.
Then we expand it.
And the sides (top and bottom) are bent to the midline.
Similar actions must be done in the other transverse direction.
Bend the sides of the resulting rectangle to the middle center line.
On the right side, we straighten the blank of the future piglet, while forming diagonal folds near the center line.
We smooth the workpiece on the right side, giving it the following shape.
Rotate to the left by 90 degrees, after which we will bend the triangles up. Of these, in the future we will form the ears of our piglet.
From the bottom side, bend the corners to the middle. In this place we will make a patch.
Fold up the bottom corner a little.
We turn further up as follows.
From the front side, the piglet blank at this stage looks like this.
On the sides of the lower part, we will perform diagonal folds.
Now fold up horizontally. A piglet of the future pig appeared.
To form the ears, you need to turn the workpiece over again. Here we bend the upper corners to the sides, combining the edges.
In the lower part, bend the corners a little so that the muzzle appears more rounded.
Turn over to the front side again, here we bend the ears down.
It remains to draw a muzzle – eyes and nostrils. Our origami paper pig is ready.
