How to make a paper crab bookmark – a master class with step by step photos for children, parents and teachers

Posted on

Master class with a step-by-step photo “How to make a paper crab bookmark”. Making interesting light crafts with your own hands for children, parents, teachers and educators, for school and kindergarten.

How to make a paper crab bookmark

Not only an interesting book, but also a bookmark can captivate a child by reading. We propose to perform it in the form of a crab shown in this master class.

To make such a bookmark, we prepared:

  • a sheet of red paper;
  • a small piece of white paper;
  • black marker;
  • scissors;
  • glue stick.

First of all, let’s start creating the basis of our bookmark, it will be a corner-envelope made of a square of red paper. We prepared a square with a side of 14 cm.

We make a triangle out of it, folding it diagonally.

Then, at the base of the triangle, we outline the middle, make a small fold in this place.

Focusing on this middle, we begin to bend the side corners up.

This is how we should be able to.

Then we bend the side corners back, and to the middle of the base we bend all the layers of the top of the triangle.

Fold one layer of the top back.

Let’s go back to the side corners. We begin to fill them under the first layer of the top of the triangle.

We do this from both sides.

Finally, we fill the second layer of the top. As a result, we got a kind of triangular pocket.

Scissors slightly smooth its corners. This turned out to be the body of our crab.

Now let’s take care of its design. Cut out paws from red paper, make front claws.

Glue a few more paws at the bottom of the craft.

Let’s make the eyes of our crab. We draw them on circles of white paper.

Mark the mouth with a black marker.

Our bookmark for books in the form of a crab is ready.
