How to make a Christmas card with snowmen
In this master class, we will make a New Year’s card with snowmen out of paper.
To make such a postcard, we will prepare:
- blue and white paper
- scissors;
- colored markers;
- glue;
- figured hole punch in the shape of a snowflake or Christmas tree.
The main background of our postcard will be blue. Therefore, we take a sheet of paper of the corresponding color and fold it in half.
Then we will make snowmen. For them, cut out a rectangle measuring 13×22 cm from white paper.
Let’s fold this rectangle in half.
Then each half needs to be folded 3 times. First, we make a fold in the left half by a third.
Then fold the rest in half.
Similar folds must be made on the right side of the white blank; it must be folded 3 times. We have obtained such folds on a rectangle.
We fold the workpiece again with an “accordion”. We draw the outline of the half of the snowman. It is important that in the upper part all the parts are connected to each other (we will not cut this place).
Cut out with scissors.
Such 3 snowmen turned out.
Now they need to be processed. We will do this with colored felt-tip pens. First, draw multi-colored scarves.
Then we make out muzzles and other details.
Next, you need to glue these snowmen inside the postcard. We fold them again, apply glue to one half and apply it to the blue background of the postcard.
Then we apply glue to the second half, close the card and gently smooth it. We have such snowmen on the turn.
It remains to add snowflakes, which we will make using a figured hole punch. We got such a New Year’s card with snowmen.
