How to make a gift box in the shape of a mouse
The upcoming New Year will be held under the sign of the Mouse. Therefore, the corresponding crafts will be relevant during the holiday preparations. In this master class, we will demonstrate how to make a gift box in the form of a gray mouse out of paper.
To create such a box, we took:
- gray and pink paper;
- compass;
- pencil;
- pink thread;
- ruler;
- black marker;
- glue;
- plastic eyes;
- scissors.
The basis of our packaging will be an equilateral triangle, the length of its side is 16 cm. On each side we find the middle, after which we draw another triangle inside, but of a smaller size. On both sides we make small allowances. Then we cut out the blank for packaging.
At the place of future folds, carefully draw along the lines with the sharp tip of a compass. This will allow you to make even folds.
For the ears from gray paper, cut out a pair of circles with a diameter of 8 cm.
Additionally, you need to cut out circles from pink paper, their diameter is 6 cm. We glue them on top of the gray blanks.
We fix the finished ears on our workpiece as follows. Make sure they are symmetrical.
Flip the package over to the other side. We glue plastic eyes to our mouse.
With a black marker, draw a nose and small antennae.
Next, you need to assemble the package.To do this, prepare a pink thread (you can take a different color). With a needle or awl, we make small small holes at the tops of the triangles, after which we insert the thread into them.
We tighten the thread and tie a bow. We got such a paper packaging in the form of a mouse.
