How to make a festive garland out of paper
What to do with children on long winter evenings? One of the options for spending time together is creative work. This is especially true on the eve of the New Year, when you need to prepare toys and decorations. We have already shown in one of the previous master classes how to make a festive paper garland. In this master class, we propose to make another interesting paper garland with your child, which will decorate your home.

To make such a bright garland, we took:
- paper of different colors;
- scissors;
- ruler;
- pencil;
- PVA glue.

Our garland will consist of separate “accordions” folded like a fan. To make each such accordion, you will need a strip of paper 30 cm long and 10 cm wide. Therefore, we make such blanks in advance.

First, fold this strip in half.

Then we do another addition.

And so we fold several times until the strip becomes narrow.

Due to the intended folds, we fold this strip with an “accordion”.

Next, we outline its middle with a fold.

Then we use PVA glue, applying it to the middle part of the accordion. After that, we connect the edges. We got a kind of fan.

We will need several of these fan-shaped blanks made of different colors of paper.

Now let’s start putting them together.We do this with glue, applying it to the outer part of one fan. And after that we apply another, turning it 180 degrees.

The next fan must also be rotated relative to the previous one.

And thus we glue the garland of the length we need.
