How to make a Christmas tree out of paper – a master class with step by step photos for children, parents and teachers

Posted on

Master class with step by step photo “How to make a Christmas tree out of paper.” Making interesting light crafts with your own hands for children, parents, teachers and educators, for school and kindergarten.

How to make a Christmas tree out of paper

In this master class, we will make a small Christmas tree, to create which you will need to make several “accordions” out of paper.

For crafts, we will take:

  • green and brown paper;
  • PVA glue;
  • stapler;
  • scissors;
  • small multi-colored pompoms;
  • a piece of red shiny foamiran;
  • ruler with a pencil.
Our Christmas tree will be made from separate paper accordions. We are going to make them. First, cut a sheet of green paper into separate strips (9, 8, 7 and 5.5 cm wide).

Now take the widest strip and fold it in half.

Then we perform similar additions several more times until the workpiece takes the form of a narrow strip.

We fold it in the form of an “accordion”.

From one end we connect with a stapler.

From other green stripes we make similar accordions, and then we fasten them. We get such blanks for the Christmas tree.

To create a Christmas tree trunk, you will need 2 strips of brown paper (6 cm wide and about 30 cm long).

We twist each of them into a tube (starting from the corner), and glue the tip.

Then we glue the resulting tubes together.

We begin to form a Christmas tree. First, we take a blank made from the widest strip, glue it to the trunk. You can also use double-sided tape to fix it.

Then we take a blank of a slightly smaller size and glue it a little higher.

In this way, we add all the green blanks made in the form of “accordions”. Trim off the top stem.

Now let’s decorate the Christmas tree. At the top we fix an asterisk made of red shiny foamiran.

And small multi-colored pompoms will become balls on the forest beauty. We have such a Christmas tree.
