How to make a pig bookmark
According to the Eastern calendar, 2019 is considered the Year of the Pig. The approach of the New Year can be felt by the increased assortment of all kinds of pigs on store shelves. If your house does not have a single souvenir or toy in the form of a cute pig, then it is easy to make it yourself. The bookmark in the form of a pig, shown in this master class, will be practical in manufacturing.
To make such a bookmark, we prepared:
- pink paper;
- a small piece of white paper;
- scissors;
- pink marker;
- pencil;
- black marker;
- glue.
The basis for our bookmark will be a square sheet of pink paper.
After that, we fold the pink square diagonally.
Next, fold its right corner up.
We bend the left corner symmetrically.
Now bend the corners to the sides.
Next, you need to take the top of this triangle, but only at the top layer, and then bend it down.
After that, the right corner must be filled inward.
We fill the left corner in the same way. As a result, we get a kind of pocket, which will be a blank for a future bookmark.
Now it remains to arrange our bookmark, which will be made in the form of a pig. To do this, cut out a pair of ears from pink paper.
We make out their middle with a pink felt-tip pen.
Next, glue these ears to our pink corner.
We cut out an oval, and with a pink felt-tip pen we draw nostrils on it.
Glue a patch in the middle of the bookmark.
Cut out a couple of circles from a piece of white paper, these will be the eyes. We glue them, and draw pupils with a black marker. Our bookmark-corner in the form of a pig is ready.
It remains to use it for its intended purpose.
