Posted on

Master class with a step-by-step photo “How to make a bookmark Fish out of paper.” Making interesting light crafts with your own hands for children, parents, teachers and educators, for school and kindergarten.

How to make a paper bookmark Fish

The craft presented in this master class is done quite quickly.

And after manufacturing, it can be used not only as a toy, but also as a bookmark for books.

To create such a bookmark, we have prepared:

  • orange and white paper;
  • scissors;
  • black marker;
  • ruler;
  • red marker;
  • pencil;
  • glue.

Cut off a strip of orange paper (along its long side), which will be 5 cm wide.

With the help of a fold, we outline the middle from one edge of the strip, after which we bend the right side down.

We fold symmetrically on the left side.

Now let’s make the folds again. We take the left edge of the resulting workpiece and bend it to the right, placing it horizontally.

We bend the right edge to the left, it should also be located horizontally.

Carefully cut off the protruding corner on the left side with scissors.

Now we will use glue and fix all the layers at the bottom of the future bookmark. We should get a kind of pocket.

Glue the cut off triangle on the other side, this will be the tail of the fish.

Let’s take care of the details of our craft. Cut out eyes from white paper, draw them with a black marker, and then glue them.

With a red felt-tip pen, draw the scales of the fish and its mouth.

We got such a bookmark in the form of a fish.

And this is how it will look when used in a book.
