How to make a bird with a message in the form of a heart
Our bird will not be a simple paper craft. Its wings are made in the shape of a heart, on which you can write a message. More details about the process of creating such a bird will be discussed in our master class.
For crafts, we will prepare:
- square of orange paper (21×21 cm);
- a small rectangle of red paper;
- felt-tip pens (red and black);
- scissors.
We will make the bird itself from an orange sheet of paper, which we first fold along a diagonal line.
Then we bend the corners to the intended line.
Turn the sheet over to the other side, here we bend the protruding corner.
Turn the workpiece over again, after which we bend the side corners on the other side.
Now these corners need to be straightened. We start on the right side.
As a result, they should make a fold that will look like this.
We make the same fold on the left.
Next, we will form the base of the tail of the bird. To do this, bend the bottom corner up.
Then you need to perform another fold, focusing on the side corners.
We straighten the folds of the future tail. Let’s start forming the paws. To do this, you need to fold the side triangles so that the upper sides are horizontal.
Next, we form the tail along the folds made earlier.
It remains to fold the workpiece in half.
In the upper part we form an inner fold, so we made the bird’s head.
To create its wings, fold the red rectangle in half, then attach it to the back of the bird to orient with the size.
Cut out the heart with scissors.
We fix this workpiece on the back. Previously, you can write any message on this heart.
It remains to draw a bird with a felt-tip pen. We draw her eyes and cheeks. We got such a bird with wings in the shape of a heart.
