How to make a bilbock toy
In this master class, we will make a bilbock toy with our own hands. This seemingly simple toy helps develop a child’s dexterity.

To make a toy you will need:
- an empty plastic bottle from vegetable oil;
- scissors;
- yarn;
- hook;
- sintepon.
From an empty plastic bottle cut off the bottom. It won’t be required. Now unscrew the lid and make a hole in the center. Such that a thread for knitting passes through it.
Cut off a short thread and pull it through the hole. On the inside, we tie a few knots that will not allow the thread to jump out. Screw the lid into place.

We begin to knit a harness. We make a sliding loop, and then we knit 7 sc. We tighten the loop, but not completely. You need to leave a hole to stretch the thread.
And then we knit with increments in each loop. Now we add through 1 loop. We knit a new row without increments, performing sbn only for the back wall of the loops.

The next 3 rows are knitted 1 sc in each full loop.

We knit 3 rows of green thread. And then we make an increase through 2 columns. Then again a row without an increase. And 1 more row with the addition, but now through 3 loops. At this stage, it is convenient to thread the thread into the hole in the center and pull the workpiece onto the plastic base.

Next, change the thread to lilac. We knit 4 rows. And then we add through 4 loops. Then we knit 1 row without adding.

Next, we will make a strip in mint color. We knit 1 row without increments.Then we add after 5 columns. And we will not add the next 4 rows.
Change the thread back to red. We knit just 6 rows in a circle.

To protect the child from a cut on the edges of the workpiece, we knit a row behind the back wall of the loops. And then another 1 row for both walls of the loops. And now we bend this part inside the workpiece.

It remains to tie the ball. We knit 7 sc in the ring. Then we add to each loop. Next, we will tie the increase through 1 and through 2 columns. And then just knit 3 rows. We fill with synthetic winterizer. Next, we subtract first after 2 columns, then after 1. And we subtract 1 more row after 1. We tighten the hole.

We attach the ball to the thread that comes from the main part.

The bilbock game is ready!
