How to make a beautiful paper envelope
In previous tutorials, we showed you how to make an origami envelope.
Today we will show you another way to make a beautiful paper envelope in which you can put a small postcard or a note with wishes.
To make such an envelope, we will take:
- a square sheet of colored paper;
- glue.
Let’s start with diagonal folds on the square.
Now we bend one of the corners to the center.
Next, turn the blank of the envelope over to the other side and bend the lower right part, aligning it with the middle line.
Similarly, you need to bend the lower left part.
Then we straighten the workpiece and give it the following look.
From the lower bent corner, we will form an “accordion”, from which we will later make a decorative element. To do this, we begin to make narrow folds (about 5 mm).
Such an “accordion” we got.
After that, turn the blank of the envelope over to the other side again and fold it first on the right.
Then we symmetrically make a fold on the left side. We have a decorative element in the form of a leaf.
Next, turn the blank of the envelope to the other side.
Bend the bottom corner up.
Then we bend it down again and bend the sides to the center.
Next, fold the lower part of the future envelope up.
We bend the upper corner towards ourselves.
Then we fill it inward and at the same time glue all the necessary places.
Our paper envelope is ready.
