How to crochet the educational game Flower with Butterflies
Today we will crochet a toy in the form of a flower with butterflies, which will help the baby in the development of logic, thinking, memory, and also help him remember colors and learn to distinguish them.
For knitting we need:
We will knit a flower, starting from the core, and then we will knit all 6 petals in turn. We knit the middle of the flower with a green thread. These will be 2 circles of amigurumi, which we will simply sew.
We start with a sliding loop. We make 6 sbn inside the ring. Then we knit 7 rows, adding 6 loops in each of them. Increases are knitted according to the amigurumi method. In the first row we knit 2 sc in each loop.
Further, we knit additions in every 2nd loop. And in the next row in every 3rd loop. Then in every 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th loops. In total, they tied 7 rows with increments and received 48 loops.
We knit one more of the same detail.
We sew these 2 flat circles with sc, filling with padding polyester. It is not necessary to stuff too tightly.
Now we will knit the petals. All of them will be in different colors, but we will knit them according to the same pattern. There will be 6 petals in total, which means that 8 loops will go to each petal.
We tie a thread and form 3 loops. Next, we knit 7 dc in a row, since the first 3 loops will replace 1 dc.
Next, turn around and knit 3 loops. And then a decrease, that is, 2 dc with a common top. Next, we knit 1 dc, and at the end we also subtract. That is, we also knit the last 2 dc together. We turn around. And so we knit until only 2 loops remain. We knit them together and fix the thread.
In the same way, we knit 5 more petals, only with a different thread.
To make the edges of the petals even, we will tie each of them with sc. In the top we knit 3 sc.
Now we need to tie 6 butterflies, each of which will match the color of one of the petals.
We start again with a sliding loop. We make 6 loops. Then we knit 2 ss3n, 1 ss2n, 1dc, 2 loops and 1 ss. This is the top wing.
We knit the lower wing. 2 sts, 1 dc, 1 dc2n, 3 sts and 1 sl-st.
Now the same thing, only in reverse order: 3 loops, 1 sl-st, 1 dc, 2 loops, 1 sl-st. Next 2 loops, 1 dc, 2 dc2n, 1 dc3n, 6 loops and 1 sl-st.
We tighten the sliding loop. We also tighten the thread that was knitted. Cut the thread, leaving a short tail. We tie the threads with a knot and cut off, forming antennae.
We knit 5 more of these butterflies.
Now you need to attach the butterflies to the center of the flower. For this we will use the green thread. We attach the loop to the very center of the circle. This is the very first row where there was a sliding loop. We collect 17 loops and knit 1 sl-st, hooking the loops on the back of the butterfly. So we attach all the butterflies to the center of the flower. For each petal, a corresponding butterfly so that the chains do not twist at the base.
