How to crochet a keychain. Piglet Frantik
You can quickly make a small but symbolic gift in just a couple of hours, even if you have basic crochet skills. There are also not many materials needed, so you can use the remnants of a suitable color, and our master class will help you with your work.
You will need the following materials:
- pink knitting threads
- crochet hook №1,3
- two black half beads d = 0.5 cm and one pink button with two holes,
- narrow satin ribbon bow,
- glue and sewing supplies,
- some stuffing for soft toys.
Description of work
First you need to tie the hands and feet of the pig. To do this, dial a chain of 15 air loops, make one lifting loop. Knit the second row with half-columns (a loop on the hook, pull the working thread through the loop of the base and the loop on the hook – and so on until the end of the row). Finish knitting.
At the end of the resulting part, tie a loose knot – you get a leg or arm. There are four such parts to be made.
The piglet’s body is knitted very simply. Cast on a chain of 15 air loops. Tie the chain on both sides.
Work in single crochet, in a spiral, for about 18-20 rows, 4-5 cm.
When the body is knitted to the desired length, without sewing the bottom, sew in the arms, at a distance of about one centimeter from the unsewn edge.Sew the legs at the same time sewing the edge and stuffing the body with filler.
Bend the edges of the “ears” and sew, or glue.
Drop a drop of glue on the back of the body and twist the thread into a ring, glue it to the body – this will be the tail.
First stick a button on the “face” – it will be a “patch” and half-beads-eyes. An elegant bow will add a finished look to the keychain. It can also be glued or sewn on.
