Crafts for Halloween. Witch on a broomstick
Making Halloween crafts is more fun for kids. By this holiday, you can not only carve a pumpkin lamp, but also make original paper crafts. In this master class, we will show the manufacture of a traditional representative of evil spirits – a witch on a broomstick.
To create such a craft, we took:
- black paper;
- small pieces of orange and white paper;
- glue;
- wooden ice cream stick;
- pencil;
- scissors;
- felt-tip pens (orange and black);
- ruler.
For the witch herself, we will cut out a square with a side of 9 cm from black paper.
Now fold it diagonally.
To form a blank for the witch, bend the resulting triangle in half again.
Now glue this folded triangle onto the wooden stick as follows (the stick should go inside the folded triangle).
Cut out a small strip of white paper and glue it at the top of the black triangle.
Bend the ends of this strip to the wrong side and glue it there.
Cut out a thinner strip from black paper, it needs to be glued over the white strip. This will make the witch’s hat.
We will also make a hand from black paper, cutting and gluing a small strip.
From orange paper, cut out a triangular blank and glue it to one end of a wooden stick. To get an imitation of a broom, make cuts with scissors.
Draw a face with a thin black felt-tip pen.
It remains to depict the hair, painting it in orange. Our Halloween witch on a broom is ready.
